On Sept 16 2024, we were paddling 21 miles from dam to dam for the Flatwater foundation. Little did we know, our lives would forever changed and it would be pure bliss!

I (Starla) may or may not have questioned who this handsome human was and eventually was shared his IG so .. I browsed and added!

Aaron clearly was easy to persuade and took the bait. We had our first date 10 days later at Mozart’s. We connected immediately and honestly, the rest really is history.

This year’s paddle was a little different. You were by my side. My forever partner in crime and best friend. I can’t imagine a life without you.

I look forward to all the memories we will make in the years to come. I’m thankful that all Aaron’s girlfriends previously were so dumb. I win!
